Artist Angela Blakley Angela Blakley is a mixed media artist born and raised on the Pacific Coast. Living and working between Portland, Oregon and Maui, Hawaii her bi-coastal influences have become more pronounced as of late. Her work has evolved from paint on canvas with focus on the figure to a mixed media approach incorporating collage, transfers, and found objects.

Rough edges, texture and layering materials define Angela's creative style. She sees beauty in the worn and threadbare as well as the sparkle of silver and jewels, and lusts the juxtaposition of the two. As a student of art and design, Angela conveys a deep appreciation for classic design, as it the canvas on which modern creations are painted.
